
"DUOMO” – (saporito) Extra Virgin Olive Oil, certified Toscano IGP from the Florentine hills
This olive oil comes from the hill slopes near FLORENCE.
Visibly limpid, the oil is intensely golden in colour with green tones. The ample, embracing aroma comes with marked vegetal notes of artichoke, wild chicory and a balsamic aftertaste of mint and rosemary. Its complex taste has character and tones of lettuce laced with pepper and a distinct sweet almond.
Potently bitter and decisively piquant, it is ideal on lentils, carpaccio of Tuscan ‘Chianina’ meat with porcini mushrooms, artichoke salads, bean soups, pasta with ragù, grilled swordfish, grilled wild game (wild birds, hare, boar or deer) and aged cheeses.
